    Following the success of last year’s programme, we once again bring our ‘AIM HIGH PROGRAMME’ back this year.

    London Pulse Netball ”AIM HIGH PROGRAMME”

    NB. THIS IS FOR ATHLETES AGE SCHOOL Yrs 7-13 ONLY!

    Our Vision

    Our Vision to help train Netball athletes by making them faster, stronger and more robust for Netball.

    We will teach an athlete to perform an exercise after they fully understand techniques and purpose behind it.

    Mission

    To work with athletes who are looking to take their training to the next level. Our goal is to help you improve the essential elements for performance!

    Who is this programme for?

    This programme is offered for players aged 12 yrs – 17 yrs and welcomes athletes who are preparing for upcoming trials for Hub/Schools/Clubs and Academy.

    What does this programme offer?

    Two group assessment sessions with Sam Bird (CEO and Director of Netball), Rowena Scott – Fairclough; Pathway Manager, Peter Golaszczyk MSc, BSc (Hons), MSST, ASCC (London Pulse NSL Strength and Conditioning Coach), Aaron Thorley (London Pulse Performance analyst), Rory Moxom (London Pulse Superleague Performance analyst) and support from our NSL Players and Pathway coaches to work on the technical elements.

    • A Strength and Conditioning (S&C) Programme
    • A Landing programme
    • A Ball Skills programme
    • A Nutrition advisory session
    • A filmed group fitness testing and skills session
    • A staff report with oversight by Sam Bird with areas of strength and areas to work on

    • 1st Assessment 08 May 2024       18.30 – 21.00
    • Programme issued to be followed by Athlete
    • 2nd Assessment 19 June 2024     18.30 – 21.00

    Description

    Beat Stronger Programme information pack – DOWNLOAD HERE

    The ”Beat Stronger Programme” arrives new for 2024, targeting athletes at U12, U13 & U14 who wish to train to the next level! You must be at the age appropriate leading level of your chosen sport (this will not be appropriate for those participating at entry level sport, or new to a training type environment)

    What does this programme offer? Group weekly training session(s) with our coaches to work on the technicalities of Agility, Power & Reaction training. We achieve this using unique training exercises as well as covering strength and conditioning (Power). All the movements and drills we teach our athletes can be linked into numerous sports building a stronger athlete.

    The foundation of our programme is based on:

    AGILITY – faster footwork and speed.

    POWER –  making athletes more robust.

    REACTION – quick off the mark.

    Sports Therapist and Performance Coach for EMMNA. CrossFit coach.

    Former European 60m record holder, Former European Indoor 60m champion and Olympian

    Programme Length: 10 week term time programme from May to July. Tuesday’s 19.00 – 20.30.

    May 7th, 14th, 21st. June 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th. July 2nd, 9th.

    Playoff’s competition on Saturday July 13th 09.00 – 12.00

    Total cost: £250 which includes in the 10 sessions, X3 Agility, X3 Power, X3 Reaction days

    Effective warm ups, activation and cool downs for each component.

    Quite simply, this is a fantastic opportunity for a limited amount of Best Young Athletes to promote their own training behaviours and idealogies.

    Dear Pulse Fan,

    This Whitsun break, our ‘Come Play A Day’ will be held once again at the Copper Box Arena!.

    This is for school years 3-6 only. A fantastic way of enjoying our camps!

    It’s really simple, a warm up, some drills then play games all session!

    London Pulse players will help you learn the ‘Pulse Way’!

    The session will last 3 hours from either 10.00 – 14.00

    Age groups will be: School years 3-6 Only

    Date and Time: 29th May (Years 3-6 only) From 10.00 – 14.00

    Venue: ‘The Copper Box Arena’ Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London  E20 3HB 

    We also have Merchandise that can be bought on the day.

    • All venues have been risk assessed.
    • Athletes are requested to bring their own ball, matchplay balls will be provided.
    • Athletes to bring named water bottles and a small snack for break
    • Please note all London Pulse Camps are non refundable but can be exchanged for a later camp

    This Whitsun break, our Masterclass’ will be held once again at the Copper Box Arena!.

    You will have the opportunity to Master your techniques and learn new drills to perfect your craft!

    Players from our Superleague & U21 NPL will help you learn the ‘Pulse Way’!

    The session will last 3 hours from either 10.00 – 13.00 or 13.00 – 16.00.

    Age groups will be: School years 7-10 Only

    Date and Time: 28th May (Years 7-10 only) From 10.00 – 13.00 or 13.00 – 16.00

    Venue: ‘The Copper Box Arena’ Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London  E20 3HB
