Healthy Hydration company, iPRO, have launched a long-term partnership with Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park based Netball Franchise, London Pulse, this week.
The Vitality Netball Superleague (VNSL) team, who have just had a significant amount of investment put into the club, are working to excel in the VNSL, develop young player talent and extend their reach and participation across Greater London.
iPRO, who have a long history of supporting Netball in the UK, will provide their low sugar hydration drinks to players and staff during training and on matchdays. Furthermore, iPRO have committed to support events and community activations being delivered by the Club throughout the term of the multi-year agreement.
Daniel Lavipour, London Pulse Strength and Conditioning Coach, commented:
“Staying hydrated is absolutely crucial for our netballers at London Pulse. The effects of even moderate dehydration for our players have significant negative effects that include a reduction in endurance performance as well as decrements in strength and power.
“Dehydration also impairs our decision-making on the court and increases feelings of fatigue. The intensity of Superleague netball combined with the volume of training that players must perform means that we need a great hydration product. We are really happy to be working with iPRO and their fantastic team to support our incredible athletes”.
In an exciting addition to the partnership, iPRO have collaborated with the franchise to dual brand the official London Pulse vehicle which will be used by both players and staff. The new London Pulse vehicle will be hitting the streets of London soon so be sure to capture a photo and tag @LondonPulseNetball and @iPROHydrate if you spot it for a chance to WIN prizes!
iPRO Hydrate drinks are naturally sweetened using plant extract Stevia and also contain no artificial colours or flavours. With plenty of vitamins and minerals for rehydration and recovery, the healthy drinks will be available for fans to purchase at matches, along with dual branded reusable water bottles.
On the partnership iPRO Commercial Director, Sophie Christy, said:
“We are thrilled to be working in partnership with London Pulse and we are looking forward to not only providing healthy hydration for the players, but also supporting the dedicated staff behind the franchise.
Quality hydration is essential for athletes to perform at their best and it is our pleasure to be able to provide every player with a range of re-hydration products which will bring essential benefits during training, match preparation, competition and recovery.
We are committed to offering quality support when it comes to aiding peak performance and we can’t wait to get started!”
London Pulse CEO, Sam Bird, added:
“It’s fantastic to be working with iPRO because we know we are providing the players with the very best in terms of hydration, not just around matches but also in training. Hydration is so important for performance and recovery. Our players have already provided very positive feedback. We are looking forward to working with the iPRO team over the coming seasons.”
