London Pulse Hub Competition Day, October 2019

November 8th, 2019

London Pulse are excited to be able to offer the opportunity for our Hub athletes to compete against each other in our inter-hub league. Our eight hubs compete across two divisions in a round-robin format, at venues across London and the South East.

With the top two teams from each division competing in the Grand Final, aiming to be crowned Hub League Champions in April 2020.
The opening round was held at Edge Grove School on 27th October 2019 and played host to a fantastic display of netball.

The day started with our Head of Academy, Dannii Titmuss, welcoming the parents, guardians and athletes with an informative presentation on all things London Pulse. The talk gave a flavour of what the philosophy of the club is, what athletes and parents can expect from us, and some top tips for becoming a performance athlete.

The sun shone as we took to the courts at the beautiful Edge Grove School, with each London Pulse Hub Squad playing two fixtures on the day. Across all four courts we saw great sportsmanship and a high level of skill and flair from all Hub teams. A big thank you to our Hub Coaches, to Edge Grove school for hosting us, and to our officials, as well as to all the parents and supporters and, of course, the athletes.

The league tables have been updated following the first round and as there are another four rounds, plenty of time and matches for these to all change! Our athletes return to their hubs now to continue training and will meet again for our second Hub Day on 8th February 2020 at The Ongar Academy.
