In turn, Pulse will be training at the Netball Hall on Brunel’s campus and using other facilities on offer at the university.
Natalie Seaton, Pulse’s CEO said “London Pulse are delighted to be working with Brunel university this season. The university has a proven track record of supporting world class athletes and has an established netball programme which we hope to further develop and support. We envisage that with the support of a London Pulse coaching team the university netball squad will continue to thrive.”
On behalf of the university, George Wardle, the Vice President of Student Activities released a statement saying “We are really excited to launch this new partnership with London based Superleague club London Pulse. As the highest ranked university netball team in London, forming a relationship with such an ambitious franchise, and having London Pulse training on campus, and a London Pulse coaching team supporting our 1st team squad, will enable Team Brunel Netball to push on to another level. It is a great opportunity to develop a fantastic pathway for young netballers to continue their studies whilst competing at the highest level for London Pulse, we can’t wait for the season to begin!”
