Lindsay Keable Announces Retirement from NSL netball.

Tonight’s match against Saracens Mavericks marks Lindsay’s 250th NSL game, but also the announcement of her retirement from NSL netball after the conclusion of the season and Fast5 in June.

Lindsay has had a stellar netball career – representing England between 2011 and 2018 and playing for Team Bath, Celtic Dragons, Mavericks and London Pulse. She is renowned for her disruption of the shot, as one of the rangiest defenders in the league, and has fantastic rebounding skills. Lindsay’s 250th NSL game milestone is an exceptional achievement and we are delighted that she has reached this playing for London Pulse. Lindsay has previously won the NSL title with Mavericks and is hoping to repeat this success one last time with London Pulse.

Sam Bird – CEO and HC at London Pulse said “I’ve had the pleasure of coaching Lindsay both at Mavericks and London Pulse. She’s been a dedicated athlete for many years and has continued to improve year on year. Even though Lindsay is retiring, she’s playing some of her best netball ever for our club”.

An outstanding leader Lindsay has also co captained London Pulse and remains in the leadership group. Lindsay is also a dedicated teacher, Head of Netball and House Mistress at Felsted School and has for many years balanced her teaching career with playing at Superleague level.

We will miss Lindsay as a player following the end of this season, however we are delighted that Lindsay will stay on at London Pulse in a part-time coaching capacity in the Academy and share her knowledge with the next generation of our athletes.
