On Monday 9th October nearly 300 people descended on the Copper Box Arena to take part in the 2nd annual London Pulse Corporate Cup. With organizations from industries as wide ranging as banking and finance, health and fitness, legal and public sector the evening was set to be an eclectic event.
Teams participated in either the Women’s or Mixed competition with group matches leading to play off finals. Cheered on by friends, family and a number of our London Pulse NSL and U21 athletes, the teams put on a fantastic show with some great netball on display.
Many congratulations to LNC – Lloyd’s Netball Club who won the female competition and to Linklater’s, runners up. Intermediate Capital Group (ICG)who won the mixed team competition and to GHD, runners up.
Sam Bird, CEO, Commented: “I’d like to say a huge thank you to all the amazing teams who attended the London Pulse Corporate Cup last night at the Copper Box Arena. It really was a fantastic evening and it’s so exciting to see this event grow from 16 teams last year to 25 this time around.”
“Our valued partnerships really help us to invest back into our important community and pathway programmes and allow us to compete in the #NetballSuperLeague attracting and developing the very best players for London Pulse.”
A huge thank you to our sponsors iPRO and Physique Management Co Ltd and to Qtr Time Podcast for hosting the event and to GLL for welcoming us to the iconic Copper Box Arena on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
If you didn’t take part this year, please consider joining us next year as we look to grow this event even further.
Thank you to all of our participating teams
A huge shout out also to all of our volunteers, staff and umpires who made it such a successful night.
